General Rules & Regulations

1. No student will be admitted to the college unless his / her application for admission is duly countersigned by parent / guardians.
2. Selection is provisional and can be confirmed only after clearance of supported documents.
3. Always carry Identity card.
4. Students who arrive late or who continue to be late for class or assessment may not be permitted to attend that class.
5. Uniform code laid down by the college will to be followed.
6. No club or association should be formed in the college.
7. Disruption of teaching, tutorials lecturers period of instruction or other learning based activities is act of misconduct.
8. Avoid Bullying repeated unreasonable behavior directed towards another person / lecturers.
9. Avoid illegal activities in campus including deal in drugs or carrying weapons.
10. Visit the information centre daily and read all the notices.
11. Maintain perfect silence in the corridor.
12. Park your vehicles in proper parking and do not sit on the parked vehicles.
13. Avoid heavy cash & jewelers in your bag (own risk)
14. Avoid wearing of costly jewelleries.
15. Don't scribble on the walls and college property.
16. Don't stand and shout in the corridors or outside the class room.
17. Switch off the fans and lights while leaving the classrooms.
18. Make use of your free time in academic/co curricular pursuits.
19. No visitors or friends of students are allowed to visit when teaching and LAB session is in progress. However relaxation is allowed only under exceptional circumstances.
20. Students shall not make any undesirable comments against the college either inside or outside the college.
21. Grievances of any nature should be through proper channel only.
22. Repeated misconduct of a student will result in his/her expulsion from college.
23. Submission of any false information/data regarding admission may render students liable to disqualification of studentship.
24. Students residing in the hostel should strictly adhere to the prescribed hostel rules.
25. The principal reserves the right to rejects any application for admission without assigning any reason.
26. Decision of the chairman will be final in all matters.
27. For any legal matters pertaining to the institution, Bhubaneswar jurisdiction only
28. College authority will not be responsible for loss of student's personal property.
29. Ragging is strictly prohibited.
30. College will be compelled to lodge FIR against ragging in the nearest police station.
31. Personal mobiles not allowed in the college premises.

 

HOSTEL RULES
The college provides hostel accommodation to a limited number of boys and girls. It has separate boy's hostel and girl's hostel. The hostels are situated near the college. They are specious, well furnished campus has in wardens, hygienic foods, round the clock security, all weather sanitation, telephone, computer facility, doctor on call and room service. The following rules & disciplines to be maintained for the students during staying in the hostel.


1. All Boarders should maintain perfect discipline inside their respective hostels and they must behave properly inside and outside the hostel.
2. No boarder should change the seat or room allotted to him/her without permission of the superintendent concerned.
3. All boarders must be present in their respective seats and must be engaged in studies during study hour.
4. If a boarder is found absent during study hours severe disciplinary actions will be taken against him/her, and If such absence is found he/her will be liable for expulsion from the hostel.
5. Any student desirous for staying in the hostel has to be a boarder for one complete session.
6. A visitor can meet a student in between 4.30 pm to 5.30pm only with permission of the hostel superintendent.
7. The institute will put one of the staff to be the hostel superintendent to look after the day to day activities of the hostel.
8. Guests/Parents are not allowed to stay in the hostel.
9. All boarder shall not be allowed to leave the hostel in mid of the session without clearing the dues of full session.
10. The boarder shall not be allowed to use electrical appliances such as heater TV and stereo etc inside the hostel and must not put his/her hands in any electrical repair or maintenance
11. A student taking admission in the hostel has to deposit hostel fee for the session at one time no installment system is allowed either in any case may be.
12. No video/ film screening is allowed inside the hostel premises. Violation there of shall incur removal from the hostel & the college forthwith.
13. The boarder should take care of their own belongings and any other valuable assets .In case of any damage or loss of the above belongings the college will not be responsible.
14. No boarder shall be allowed inside the hostel after 7pm.
15. Hostel provides 60 meals per month to the student and additional meals will be recovered from the students Rs.20/- per meal- in the same month.
16. A student consumes less than 60 meals per month, should not be adjustable in the succeeding month.
17. Meals shall be provided to the student as per the menu prescribed by the hostel.
18. Any extra item ordered by the student shall be recovered separately.
19. No guest meal shall be allowed prior to the permission of the hostel superintendent.
20. All meals are provide by the hostel in a cleaned hot case (cost is borne by the student).
21. The boarder must maintain strict discipline, the management shall seriously view any indiscipline committed even outside the hostel that directly or indirectly affects the good will of the college.
22. Consumption of alcohol and smoking is strictly prohibited inside the hostel premises. Any student violating the above shall be subjected to serious disciplinary action including removal of the student from the college.
23. Any damage to the hostel property tampering with electricity or damaging the electrical articles by one, all the boarders of the hostel shall be held responsible and a penalty amount as decided by the management will be imposed upon all the boarders.
24. The management shall not be held responsible for any type of syndromes like prolonged absence without any intimation creating disturbances causing injury to other boarders, suicide or attempt there of and road accidents etc. The management however shall take care to inform parents or local guardian accordingly.
25. At the time of admission local guardian must submit their photographs along with detailed address.
26. Girl students shall not be allowed outside or any leave without written application from local guardians/ guardians.
27. During examination, students are not allowed to take any leave.
28. Ragging in any from by the student is strictly prohibited either inside or outside the hostel.
29. Personal mobiles are not allowed inside the hostel.

 

 

COLLEGE LIBRARY RULES.

1. Admission is prohibited without membership/Library card.
2. Keep silence and maintain absolute discipline, and follow the instruction of the librarian.
3. Keep the luggage/Bag/Helmet on the rack before sitting in the library.
4. No book should be taken out of the library without the knowledge of the librarian.
5. No notes or marking shall be made in the library books nor shall any pictures or pages be removed or disfigured.
6. If any borrower keeps a book in his/her possession for more than the time allowed, no additional books will be issued to him/her until the borrowed books have been returned to the library.
7. Magazines/journals/news papers and books should only be issued to the readers and the same should be returned on the very day before a student leaves the reading room.
8. Students who are allowed for library facilities can borrow only three books at a time for a maximum period of 7 days (Inclusive Holidays) subsequently the student can renew a book once only another 7days.
9. If a student does not return the borrowed books in due time he/she Will be liable to pay fine as stated below.
I. Time period 7 days after due date- fine Rs10/- per book- per day.
II. Time period 30 days after due date-fine Rs10/- plus Rs3/- per day per book.
III. After 30 days- disciplinary action would be initiated against defaulting students..
10. All students are advised to be careful about their library card. Those who lose their card will be held responsible for any book issued against their lost of library card however a duplicate card may be issued on written against payment of Rs 50/-
A. Students are supposed to maintain discipline and keep silence inside the library.
B. Unnecessary gossiping inside the library is strictly prohibited.
C. Switch of the mobiles while inside the library.

11. No student is allowed into the computer lab except only for academic purpose and with due permission from the Lab-in charge
12 Spitting, smoking, sleeping inside the library are strictly forbidden.
13. We have well stocked library any student can become a member of library by paying a refundable amount Rs1000/- he/she can avail this facility by using library reference books, latest magazines and other material.
